WHEN DID I START STREAMING?

In the winter of 2014, I discovered Twitch. At that time, I was mainly playing League of Legends so I began watching streamers doing the same. It dawned on me that I had the potential to become a creator as well. I have a passion for engaging with people and desired to establish a personal brand where I could authentically express myself and assist others in discovering joy in gaming and creative pursuits.

Growing up I played titles like Sims & Zoo Tycoon and in my teen years World of Warcraft consumed my life. I realized I had so many games to catch up on, and decided to play through things like Bioshock, Mass Effect and more classics that I missed over the years. Due to this lifelong passion, it felt natural for me to aspire to build a career within the gaming industry. To this day I continue to stream and build communities, and I love it!

More About Me

How old are you?

A: Younger than you might guess.

How tall are you?

A: Not very. I’m 5’3”.

Do you have any pets?

A: My parents have a 5-Year-old Australian Shepherd that is 85 pounds of fluff and love, but currently I don't have any pets. I LOVE animals and can't wait to get a dog & or cat again one day when the time is right.

When did you start streaming?

A: I started streaming in December 2014. I started on Twitch, and then after about a year & a half, I moved to Beam because it was a super welcoming community & new adventure for me. I became partnered with Beam on April 21st, 2017. Once Beam got bought by Microsoft and turned into Mixer, things changed & I felt like the small community I loved had changed to too much of an Xbox focus. My community followed me back to Twitch in mid-2018 and I became an Affiliate and was able to meet lots of new Pirates. I multi-streamed to Twitch & Mixer for a while. But now I’ve more recently focused on Twitch, YouTube content, and TikTok. In 2021 I became a YouTube partner as well!

What have you done for work?

I was the Social Media Specialist Events & Community Manager for Streamloots for 4 years. I loved being able to work with an amazing start-up that allowed me to work in this space and help others become more successful with their streams. They sent me to TwitchCon, PAX South, and E3 in 2019! It was such an exciting experience that I will never forget. After getting laid off in 2022 due to funding, I ended up at another small Startup, Kast (LiveCurrentMedia) where I was their Social & Community Manager and helped them organize their Discord, Community Events, and Social Content. Unfortunately due to funding yet again(thank you tech space in 2023-2023), I was laid off again. Since them I've put more focus on content and my fake gel nail Etsy shop, but haven't landed that next perfect opportunity yet. I'm hopeful though that the right thing will come at the right time. Patience has been something I've come to understand and appreciate this year.

Why are Lemons the best fruit?

I grew up eating Mediterranean dishes as I am half Turkish and we put fresh lemon juice on and in everything. Couscous, salads, chicken noodle soup, and more! I love the taste of lemons and anything sour. Also, Lemon Salt is a staple in my pantry.
